YHWH - ELOHIM - TRUTH
REV.13:1
AND I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,(and we stand upon the the sand of the sea of mankind - you and I standing in our generation with all the living people of the world) and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. ( and we see this as the governments of the world rising up out of the sea of mankind usurping all power into one central body. The number seven resounds the perfection of the governing principality's so revealing the network of nations thus constituting the power while the number ten indicates the completeness of that power. Still to be even more precise the individuality of "his" heads or leaders yet identifies them as one beast by the name of blasphemy upon their heads..)
THE SIMPLE TRUTH IS THAT THE BEAST AS SERPENT, DRAGON, WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING OR GOVERMENTS IS WINDING ITS WAY DOWN THE STREAM OF TIME TO THIS PRESENT DAY. A DEMONSTRABLE EVIL ATTEMPTING TO SHOW ITSELF AS GOOD.
LUKE 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
THE NAMES OF ELOHIM
In regards to the Names of Elohim – We are aware of the many wonderful revelations of our Creator throughout the scriptures and the marvelous way our Father portrays His attributes through His expressed Names. However, that is not the focus of our concern. The origin of the translated titles and names are what we raise objection to.
Concerning the TITLE “ELOHIM", A.B. Traina in his preface to the Holy Name Bible says, “The characteristic appellation of the Most High "ELOHIM" has been substituted by the Assyrian deity Gawd, or God in English, and is repudiated by YAHWEH in Isaiah 65:11 which reads as follows, “But ye are they which forsake YAHWEH, that forget My holy mountain, and furnish a drink offering to Meni” (Holy Name Bible) The Cambridge edition, KJV, says "troop", but the marginal says “Gad” (Many still furnish a drink offering – a toast for "good luck": – Good Fortune – and a table for feasting on New Year’s and other occasions:)
Hastings, a Bible Dictionary, Vol. 2, p. 76: Gad (Fortuna)- …the god of good luck, Gad, as ‘fortune,’ seems to illustrate the origin of the Old Pers. Word for "God", baga.
The Jewish Encyclopedia, vol 5 p. 544; The Interpret ors Dictionary of the Bible, Vol. 2 p.355; Smiths Dictionary of the Bible: All define Gad as the deity of fortune, some even making reference to Baal-Gad (the Lord God), a heathen city which Joshua destroyed (Joshua 11:17 12:7) Even Strongs Exhaustive Concordance, a most conventional work, admits that the Hebrew word which God is used is Elohim (p.12 of Hebrew dictionary, entry no. 430). ‘God’ doesn't’t even resemble ‘Elohim’ and once again, God is not contained in the names of the prophets as Elohim is. Look up Elohim in any unabridged dictionary to see that it is the true Title of YHWH.
The importance of a name in the Hebrew culture is evident throughout the scriptures – Solomon – peaceable – never saw war in his entire reign: Nable – fool – was foolish enough to reject David’s servants, and of him Abigail said, As his name is, so is he; Nable is his name, and folly is with him. In fact, the name of every Israelite contained a revelation of the person himself.
Much more so the Divine Name, YHWH is filled with deep, vital, memorable revelation of the Supreme Being, and His relation to His creation. The Name, YHWH, very basically is translated to be I AM, or HE WHO IS, but the nature of the Hebrew language is such that one word, especially the Name of the Creator , is more realistically an expression or a revelation than a word that can be defined by a simple word or two in another language. Hence, the meaning of the Name of YHWH can only be experienced through the personal knowledge of Him, and we can barely skim the surface with such definitions as these: HE WHO is; the Creator of all that comes into existence; the Self-existent Who rides upon the wings of the wind; He Who was, and is, and is to come, the Beginning and the Ending; the Almighty; the Righteousness; the Rock; Unmovable, King of kings and Ruler of rulers; the Savior; the Redeemer; the Holy One; the only true Elohim. All these thoughts, and much more, are expressed in the Name YHWH.
FOREVER, AND THIS IS MY MEMORIAL UNTO ALL GENERATIONS. (Exodus 3:13-15)
The fact that YHWH is the name of Elohim declared to Moses and has since, in most versions of the bible, been supplanted by the degenerate and degrading titles ‘LORD’, ‘GOD’ and ‘JEHOVAH’, is virtually undisputed by biblical authorities’ (Although we do not use these titles, references are quoted ‘as is’ for exactness.)
